Summer School for PhD Students

Topic: Are you planning your first steps in university teaching or looking to expand your didactic repertoire? This hands-on summer school specifically prepares you for your first teaching assignment and the challenges of cross-disciplinary thinking in particular. You will develop the skills needed to facilitate students learning and to foster their development as academic writers. 

Target group: PhD students from all disciplines 

Time period: 

Digital kick-off: June 17, 2026, 9 a.m.–12 p.m., start of the flexible online self-study phase

In-person week: July 13–17, 2026, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. 

Location: digital & Leuphana University of Lüneburg 

Costs: Participation in the summer school is free of charge for all participants.

Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Graphs for Scholarly Data

Topic: The Summer School explores how AI can support researchers throughout the entire research cycle — from working with scientific data to developing and applying AI-based research tools.
