German Intensive Courses

During the lecture-free period between semesters, students from partner universities have the opportunity to take part in an intensive German course. The courses start at the beginning of March and the beginning of September and comprise 56 lessons.

Beginners' courses are offered at levels A1 and A2, as well as courses for intermediate and advanced learners at B1 and B2 level.

Upon successful completion of the course, 5 ECTS for recognition at the home university can be obtained by prior arrangement.

Our university campus is located in Lüneburg in northern Germany on the main route between Hamburg and Hanover and can be reached by train from Hamburg in around half an hour.

Accommodation in the student residences is not possible for this short period, but there are numerous charming private accommodations in Lüneburg and the youth hostel is also located in the direct neighborhood of our campus.
