How good must my Italian be in order to participate in the Erasmus program at an Italian-speaking partner university?
- As a rule, at least B1 is required. However, the selection criteria are varied - your knowledge of Italian plays a central role.
- Please note that you have to apply for an Erasmus program about one year in advance. Talk to the language lecturers as early as possible in order to optimally prepare yourself linguistically for your stay abroad and ensure the desired academic success.
Can I prepare for the Italian courses or a semester abroad?
Yes, because
- in the Self-Access Center, you can learn the language on your own and improve your existing knowledge. Of course, you can also learn a new language here as a beginner.
