While on-campus parking is limited, public transportation in Lüneburg is excellent. Our three Leuphana campuses are very well connected to Lüneburg’s bus and railway network. Join in the Leuphana spirit of a sustainable campus and contribute to environmental protection by using the local transportation network or a bicycle.
A bicycle is the most popular means of transport on and to the campus. In front of each building and lecture hall are bicycle stands, and there is Kon-RAD, a student-run repair shop. On-campus, at the railway station and in the city you will find Stadt-RAD (Sharing Concept) bikes.

You can obtain a free charging card (The New Motion - a large charging network in Europe) from LÜNESTROM, Untere Schrangenstraße 4, 21335 Lüneburg, at www.lünestrom.de, or at the key issue desk on campus in room C10.029a (Mon - Fri, 9 am to 11 am).

Register your card at https://my.thenewmotion.com/activate

To charge, plug the charging cable into the car's connector. Plug the other end of the cable into the charging station. Hold the fuel card against the circular sensor of the charging station. Sensor now lights up green and changes to blue shortly afterwards. Charging cable is locked. The car is being charged - with green power, of course. End the charging process and hold the card in front of the sensor again. Blue light disappears, charging cable is unlocked and can be removed.
