Agenda Setting Workshop: transdisciplinary research and sustainability within an intercultural orientation

The comming 11th, 12th and 13th September 2018 the ‘Agenda Setting Workshop: transdisciplinary research and sustainability within an intercultural orientation’ will take place at the Leuphana University Lüneburg. This event is organised by the CCP project, ‘Compexity or Control? Paradigms for sustainable development’ CCP project

The Agenda Setting Workshop benefits from the presence of participants and trainers from different world regions staying in Lüneburg for the Td Summer School 2018 and aims at developing an international research agenda on transdisciplinary research and sustainability, based on continuous exchange. During the workshop the participants will envision a common research horizon, while reflecting about the challenges of incorporating different socio-cultural (research) traditions and of taking political and economic conditions, as well as different roles of science in society into account.

The CCP research team is a consortium of researchers from the Methodology Center, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Sustainability with an overall objective of contributing to consolidate the epistemological and methodological foundations of transdisciplinary sustainability research. CCP is funded by the Ministry of Science and Culture of the Federal State Lower Saxony and the Volkswagen Foundation.
