Bachelor & Master Theses

We often have opportunities to develop Master and Bachelor projects in the POEM experiment during the field season. 

If you are interested in writing your Bachelor’s or master’s thesis in our group, please consider the following:

• They are normally done in the context of one of our ongoing projects. New ideas are welcome as soon as they are related to our group’s research focus.
• You are expected to do field and/or lab work.
• We expect you to be able to analyse your data in R program.
• We will guide you on how to scientifically write your thesis but expect you to read and study scientific literature about the topic.
• Generally, we are working in English, but there are options to write in German as well.
