Vita

Since October 2025 Maria Wolters works as doctoral research associate in the structural program “Embracing Transformation” of the Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. As part of the key subject area “Toward a Regenerative Society” Maria Wolters focusses on the interactions of regenerative dynamics in social-ecological systems. She received her biology bachelor’s degree (B. Sc.) from the Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel (2017-2020) and her sustainability science master’s degree from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg (2022-2025). She gained international experience spending a semester abroad each at the University of Aberdeen (2018) and the University of Almería in Spain (2024) during her studies.
