Vita

Dr. Han­nah Zin­del is a post­doc­to­ral re­se­ar­cher at MECS, the In­sti­tu­te for Ad­van­ced Stu­dy on Me­dia Cul­tu­res of Com­pu­ter Si­mu­la­ti­on at Leu­pha­na Uni­ver­si­ty Lüne­burg. Between 2011 and 2016, she held doc­to­ral fel­lowships at Bau­haus-Uni­ver­si­ty Wei­mar/​Uni­ver­si­ty of Er­furt and at Uni­ver­si­ty of Trier. She is the author of a book on media tech­ni­ques of bal­loo­n­ing in the 19th cen­tu­ry. At MECS, she fo­cus­ses on historical and current media techniques of city climate research.
