Theme and Subjects

The overall theme of the Summer School will focus on Political Parties and Democracy. This enables us to analyse the role and the function of political parties in “old” and “new” European democracies but also in other regions of this world.

In addition to the academic programme, a one-day excursion to Hamburg and a three-day academic excursion to Berlin is integral part of the programme.
