Social Pedagogy

The team of the chair of Social Pedagogy conducts empirical and theory-generating research in the following areas:

  • Child and youth welfare research (with a special interest in ombuds offices and complaint services and social space approaches),
  • Refugee family studies,
  • Subjectivation and discourse analysis,
  • Theories of social pedagogy and social work,
  • Trust research.

Our teaching is also based on these focal points.
