Prof. Velte elected to the Advisory Board of the Financial Experts Association (FEA)

At this year's general meeting, Prof. Velte was accepted as a member of the Financial Experts Association (FEA) and elected to the advisory board.
The professional association "FEA - Financial Experts Association e.V." (FEA) is the first nationwide organised representation of interests for independent financial experts in supervisory bodies and has meanwhile established itself as one of the leading supervisory board associations. Founded in 2008, the association supports independent financial experts in their professional activities in the fields of corporate governance, risk management, accounting, internal control, compliance and auditing.
Prof. Velte had already participated in the Sustainability Working Group and in the FEA's Topic Identification Committee. Together with the FEA and his doctoral student Christoph Wehrhahn, Prof. Velte will conduct an empirical study this year on sustainability expertise in the audit committee/supervisory/advisory board and on cooperation with internal audit and the auditor.
