Supervision
The Professorship for Business Administration, esp. Accounting, Auditing & Corporate Governance supervises qualified students in the doctoral track on research topics in the fields of (Sustainable) Accounting, Auditing, Tax and Corporate Governance. In this context, it is also possible to promote young researchers while working, whereby cooperation projects with corporate practice (e.g. auditing and consulting firms) with appropriate release regulations are preferred. The professorship has a wide range of strategic cooperations with auditing and consulting firms in northern Germany, which ensure excellent career prospects after successful completion of the promotion.

In line with international practice, the doctoral students supervised will write a cumulative dissertation based on three to four publications in renowned international journals and a framework paper. The rating of the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB) is used as a reference framework.
At Leuphana University of Lüneburg, a "Doctoral Track" enables particularly qualified students to prepare for a doctorate parallel to their Master's degree and to complete individual modules of the doctoral programme. You can find more information here
