Take the opportunity to make your life more active and improve your quality of life and health. Our qualified instructors offer a good mix of strengthening, mobilization, loosening and relaxation in consecutive units. With a regular workout you can keep yourself well balanced and take care of your well-being and thus master your everyday study and work life.

Relaxation & Physio

Enjoy some time out and do something good for yourself. Our sauna and garden are two places of relaxation in the middle of the campus. Discover the beneficial effects of a sauna bath or a massage.

Our physiotherapists will be happy to answer your questions about correct posture, muscular tension or healthy movement exercises. We will book you an appointment quickly.

And by the way: A massage voucher is usually a welcome gift and quite popular among friends.

Fitness and Equipment Training

Would you like to get more exercising in your busy everyday life in a simple way? Then our fitness studio offers you the right training opportunities. You will find it directly on campus. Our trainers will take care of you from the beginning, create an individual training plan and revise it as soon as you set new training goals.

Good to know: If you like, our physiotherapists will accompany you when you start training after injuries or after a longer abstinence from sports.

One card - numerous offers.

Groupfit is our versatile offer for everyone who likes to move to motivating music. After a short warm-up, choreographies as well as functional exercises or intensive intervals will make you sweat. The final cool-down brings your circulation back down and rounds off the hour. Small equipment such as tubes, gymsticks or dumbbells make the workout interesting and effective.

You come out of a Groupfit class energized and in a good mood.

Employee Sports

Take advantage of the opportunity to stay fit and healthy throughout your workday with us.

The Health Working Group and University Sports are very pleased to be able to offer all Leuphana employees an extensive employee sports programme. Book an exercise break at work together with your colleagues or take advantage of our varied courses - thus you can stay healthy and mobile at work and have time for friends and family in the evenings.

One hour of exercise per week can be counted as working time. In your free time, you can take advantage of the whole range of courses in this programme or in the university sports programme.


Mobilization Break "MoBe"

MoBe is short for Mobilization Break and refers to a five-minute movement break within a course. A trainer comes by during seminars or lectures and guides the students. The purpose of this break is to have fun, to distract oneself and then to be able to concentrate better. A MoBe is particularly recommended for seminars with excessive length or block events, but can and should of course also be booked for 90-minute courses to increase receptivity.

And how does the MoBe get into your course? Either lecturers book the movement break with a short e-mail or you as a student request a MoBe from us. We will then clarify everything else with the lecturers.
