Case studies in Sustainability Management provide learning tutorials that complement the material taught in the main lecture “Fundamentals of Sustainability Management”. Over the course of the semester, these tutorials will cover 5 case studies on key topics of sustainability management: including CSR, sustainability marketing, sustainable entrepreneurship, stakeholder management, business case for sustainability and sustainability strategies. Each student will contribute to all case studies.
The case studies will be prepared and presented by the students through group work. Students will be allotted into one of six groups and meet every two weeks during their respective case study time slot.

In diesem Kolloquium werden die Promotionsvorhaben der Promotionsstudenten /-Stipendiaten des CSM vorgestellt und zusammen mit den Professor*innen und anderen Betreuer*innen diskutiert.
This module provides an introduction to the fundamentals of sustainability management and creates a basic understanding of corporate sustainability. This introductory course deals with functions, analytical approaches and methods of sustainability management. Approaches to normative and strategic aspects of socio-economically rational sustainability management are addressed and an overview is given to advanced methods and areas for an in-depth study of corporate sustainability. Different actor perspectives are analysed with reference to stakeholder theory and applied to understand and shape approaches of corporate sustainability management. This includes market-oriented, standards-oriented, cooperative and political perspectives of corporate sustainability and sustainability topics of different organisational departments.
