Vita

Tim Schroll has been working as a research associate at the Professorship for Sustainability Economics and Management at the Centre for Sustainability Management, Leuphana University Lueneburg, since July 2024. His reserach focuses on sustainable consumption, sustainability management, and organizational resilience. He was also a visiting scholar at the University of Agder. Before joining Leuphana, he worked as a research associate at the Business School of the University of Hamburg. He holds a Master's degree in International Business and Sustainability and a Bachelor's degree in Socioeconomics, both from the University of Hamburg. During his master's studies, Tim Schroll also gained experience as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Management.

Responsibility 4: Founding sustainable start-ups
Tim Schroll
Dieses Seminar beschäftigt sich mit der zunehmenden theoretischen und praktischen Relevanz nachhaltiger Start-ups und der Entwicklung nachhaltiger Geschäftsmodelle. Ziel dieser Veranstaltung ist es, dass die Studierenden auf Basis der theoretischen Grundlagen und von Praxisbeispielen ein nachhaltiges Geschäftsmodell entwickeln, welches auf der Konferenzwoche präsentiert wird. Im Rahmen des Seminars sollen folgende Fragestellungen behandelt werden: Welche Rolle spielen Start-ups für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung? Wie gründet man ein nachhaltiges Start-up? Welche Herausforderungen ergeben sich hierbei und wie können diese gelöst werden? Das Seminar orientiert sich primär an der Literatur zu Sustainable Entrepreneurship. Es werden keine empirischen Daten erhoben.
