Research Communications

Research activities and their results unfold their full potential if interested parties inside and outside of science can access and understand them. The research communication team supports Leuphana scientists in achieving this goal in the best possible way.

Being the central point of contact for all matters concerning the public presentation of Leuphana's research activities, our services include:

- Composing research news for the website home page and the "Research" section
- Disseminating research news via the “Facetten” newsletter
- Releasing information about dates and events in the area of research
- Feeding news and stories to the central social media channels and news portals

In addition, we support all those who are interested in science communication by:

- continuously presenting platforms, tools and opportunities to become active,
- providing information material on the topic of communication and dissemination,
- developing a range of workshops (How research becomes readable for laypeople, 11.10.2024; Impact-Workshop, 19.11. and 3.12.2024; Science communication via comics; Basics of Science Communication. In the future e.g.: Crisis Communication, Visualisation, Research ‘pitching’, Snackable Content),
- advising you on your own personal communication project (also in the context of a third-party funding application).
