Age in the Workplace Meeting 2017
Small Group Meeting at the Institute of Management & Organization, Leuphana University
November 9th - 11th, 2017
Demographic change remains one of the most important topics for politics, society and business. Its impact, also at the workplace becomes more and more evident and reaches companies worldwide in terms of e.g., recruiting (especially in skilled labour shortages), keeping the workforce workable and productive, as well as retirement transition. Demographic change therefore is a topic that touches everyone, and hence needs a holistic understanding of the underlying theories and practical implications. Therefore, sharing and fostering worldwide research about older workers & aging at the workplace is essential. The goal of this years’ small group meeting ‘AWM 2017’ is to facilitate discussions and feedback on current research findings and planned research topics, as well as to jointly derive new insights and ideas for future research. The Age in the Workplace meeting takes place every second year. This year's conference will be hosted at Leuphana, University of Lüneburg on November 9th-11th, 2017 at the Institute of Management & Organization, Leuphana University of Lueneburg, Wilschenbrucher Weg 84, 21335 Lüneburg. The participation of the meeting is by invitation only.

The PhD program aims at supporting PhD students in their current research targets by offering a presentation and discussion platform prior to an AWM - meeting.
The draft file will be made available to all participants before the meeting in November 2017.
The organisation team is happy for all of your feedback, ideas as well as questions and points of discussion - before, during and after the AWM 2017. The aim is to further develop the PhD program and support the transition from a presentation file to reality.
