You're invited: The Erasmus+ Project Account4GreenEco will celebrate its Final Conference – Bridging practice and university for advancing sustainability accounting education, on November 13, 2025, from 12.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. (CET).
The conference will bring together leading voices from academia, major corporations, Big Four firms, and policy-making bodies to explore the future of sustainability accounting and its integration into education and practice. Through engaging roundtables and keynote sessions, we’ll examine how sustainability accounting can support the EU’s green transition and strengthen the connection between higher education and real-world business needs.
In also unveil the Account4GreenEco online learning platform, designed to promote the inclusion of sustainability accounting in business and accounting curricula across the European Higher Education Area. Whether you're a professional, educator, or student, this is a unique opportunity to gain insights, connect with peers, and contribute to shaping a greener economic future.
The event will take place in Hotel AC Atocha (Madrid, Spain) and can be attended in person or online.

The Leuphana Centre for Sustainability Management (CSM), is part of “Account4GreenEco” (Sustainability Accounting Learning Platform for a Green Economy) since 2022 – together with three partner universities: Universidad de Burgos, Università degli Studi di Trento and Montpellier Business School (France). The EU funded project seeks to support students in becoming sustainability accounting professionals who help companies meet EU sustainability requirements and advance the green transition.
