Vita

Luca Lambers is a doctoral researcher in the Embracing Transformation program and part of the Hub Science Psychology of Transformation at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. His doctoral research focuses on tolerance of ambiguity in school-based democratic education and examines how schools can foster students’ ability to engage with uncertainty, plurality, and conflicting perspectives as part of democratic resilience. This focus also connects his work to the Key Subject Area Democratic Resilience, where he is an associated member. Before joining Leuphana University, he studied Biology and German for secondary school teaching at the Universities of Hamburg and Duisburg-Essen and gained practical experience in schools through teaching assignments. In addition, he has developed a profile in teacher education, school development, and democratic education through academic and practice-oriented contexts. His research combines perspectives from educational research, social psychology, and school development.
