The seminar covers the link between research and practice in IO psychology.
The aim of the course is to enable students to answer practical questions in a way that is based on current findings in the research on industrial and organizational psychology.

The seminar has two main parts:
1. An introduction into efficient reading, evaluation and analysis of scientific findings in the field of IO-psychology.
2. Case studies on HRM problems and the development of solutions based on current scientific findings.

Course schedule:
Day 1:
- Introduction: Research and practice in IO psychology
- Analyzing and evaluating research reports in IO psychology
- How to find high-quality research in IO psychology

Day 2:
- Case studies: Finding evidence based solutions to practical problems in HRM (Group work)
- Presenting the results of the group work
