Vita

Clara Wieghorst is a Research Associate in the German Research Council (DFG) funded project "Disconnectivity. Imaginaries, Media Technologies, Politics" led by Timon Beyes and Urs Stäheli (University of Hamburg). She holds a degree in sociology (M.A., with distinction) from the University of Hamburg. In her dissertation, she is studying the workings and effects of different imaginaries of disconnection. Her research interests lie in the fields of digital cultures, sociology of culture and sociological theory.
