Nurasih Shamadiyah
Nurasih is a PhD student from Malikussaleh University, Aceh, Indonesia. Her main research interests are on sustainability of the food security program and the socio-cultural influence on community participation. She works as a lecturer in the Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture at Malikussaleh University, Aceh, Indonesia.

Ludwig Chanyau 

Ludwig is a PhD scholar in the Environmental Learning Research Centre [ELRC] at Rhodes University. His study seeks to monitor and evaluate climate change education among emerging women farmers in South Africa so as to find pathways for their inclusion and collective agency. Ludwig holds a Master’s degree in Social Development from the University of Cape Town [UCT]. Prior to joining the  ELRC and subsequently the ESD Expert Net as a research assistant, Ludwig taught postgraduate social development studies at UCT. He also worked in the development sector in Zimbabwe for the UNICEF and in South Africa for various local NGOs working in urban foods systems and youth development. Ludwig is joining ISDL as Leuphana DAAD fellow from 1 August to 30 September.
