Management, Organization and Corporate Governance
This area of activity is primarily concerned with the development of organisational structures and concepts, as well as the management of all operational processes and workflows.
- Order Manager: maintains customer orders from receipt to acceptance
- Head of Division: Manages business or functional areas of a company
- Business Development Manager: Responsible for the development and implementation of new business ideas, evaluation of marketing opportunities, acquisition of strategic partners, and the development of new business fields
- Compliance Manager: Develops concepts and measures to ensure legally and ethically correct behaviour by organisations and their employees
- Contract Manager / Contract Processor: Participate in the drafting, amendment and processing of contracts and advise clients on contract amendments, e.g. changes in the legal situation
- Managing Director: Manages the business of a company in accordance with the instructions of the Board of Directors
- Group / team leader: Assumes leadership of employees, teams and departments
- Idea and Innovations Manager: Develops concepts for more efficient operational processes and products, plans and organises innovations and restructuring
- Office Manager: Plans, coordinates, and supervises the office service in companies or authorities
- Manager: Takes on management tasks at middle to upper organisational level
- Master of Business Administration: Plans and monitors business activities and derives entrepreneurial decisions of these
- Mergers and Acquisition Specialist: Provides consulting services for the purchase, sale and merger of companies

Finance and Accounting
This area of activity primarily involves the auditing, planning, and coordination of financial and material resources, invoices, and other operating costs.
- Management Accountant: Collects key business figures from business and operational accounting as a basis for entrepreneurial decisions and advises the management from a business perspective
- Financial Accountant: Performs tasks in the areas of bookkeeping and accounting. The scope of duties ranges from accounts payable and accounts receivable, accounting to preparatory closing operations, and the preparation of strategic financial management issues
- Cost Calculator: Calculates operational costs and prices
- Auditor: Controls the payment transactions of companies, municipalities, cities, and associations
- Auditor: Plans and carries out audits of the accounting system, prepares audit reports, and develops recommendations for action
- Insurance calculator: creates and edits calculations, analyses profitability calculations for various insurance products
Investment management/ Banks and Insurance Companies
This area of activity focuses on strategies and measures for raising capital and applying funds.
- Investment consultant: supports private and corporate clients with capital investments made with credit institutions, investment companies or trust and fund companies.
- Financial Broker: Brokerage of financial services for investments, loans or insurance transactions to private individuals, self-employed persons, or tradesmen
- General Agent (insurance): Head of representation of an insurance company and advisor for clients on various types of insurance contracts
- Syndicated Consultant: Supervision of banking transactions carried out by several banks or credit institutions for joint account, e.g. a securities issue, the granting of loans, or the assumption of guarantees
- Credit Manager: Planning, optimisation and monitoring of credit exposures by analysing credit situations and financial markets
- Risk Analyst: Applies risk management methods, e.g. by creating complex reinsurance concepts and coverage models
- Risk Manager: Identification, analysis and evaluation of potential risks that could jeopardize the successful development of a company
- Underwriter (insurance): Responsible for underwriting; analysing, assessing and designing insurance contracts, programmes and quotation systems for insurance companies
- Insurance Consultant: advises and supports self-employed persons and corporate and private clients with regard to personal, property and financial loss insurance
Consulting (Tax, Management and Financial Consulting, Auditing)
- Business Economist for taxes and auditing: Plans and monitors the tax, finance, and accounting system of a company
- Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist: Takes over consulting services around the purchase, sale, or merger of companies
- Rating analyst: assesses the creditworthiness of potential borrowers and debtors.
- Trustee: Represents the interests of trustors and advises their clients in tax, private, and financial matters, sometimes as mediator between two contracting parties or insolvency administrators
- Management Consultant: As an external service provider, analyses the processes and structures in companies, e.g. to increase profitability or to secure and expand the economic success of the company
- Venture Capitalist: Advise young entrepreneurs in their business planning and provide capital for the foundation or expansion of business ideas
- Auditor: Conducts business audits of companies (e.g. annual audits) and advises clients on business and tax issues - requires extra qualification in addition to studies
Research and Teaching
Teaching at universities involves organising and conducting courses and supervising students.
- Lecturer at Universities and Academies: designs and conducts courses, and works on scientific research projects
