The written Application

The written application is your advertisement. The application documents give the potential employer an overview of your existing skills and represent a first working sample showing your attitude to work and exactitude. The invitation to the job interview depends on them.

Personnel managers want to capture all the important information quickly and completely. Therefore, covering letter and resume must be designed individually for each application. Applicants, who link the description of the job applied for in their cover letter to the company, demonstrate serious interest and a good preparation.

The following points summarize useful information for preparing your application documents. Not all employers always require that you submit all documents. Find out in advance which application documents are necessary, and how you want to submit them to your potential employer. If the job announcement requires you to send in complete application documents, your application should be accompanied by the following papers:

1. Covering letter
2. Curriculum Vitae
3. Cover and photo (optional)
4. Enclosures (school and work certificates, references, certificates)

The term “Short application” means you only to send a letter and your CV. Fill out online applications digitally in their existing form.
