Courses
In dem Seminar wird gemeinsam ein Forschungsprozess im Feld der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe durchlaufen. Im Kurs wird ein aktuell relevantes Thema herauskristallisiert, an das mehrere in Kleingruppen oder als Einzelperson bearbeitbare Fragestellungen anschlussfähig sind. Es findet eine kollektiv organisierte Datenerhebung statt sowie ein gemeinsamer Analyseprozess, der in dem Seminar kontinuierlich begleitet wird. Methodisch sind sowohl qualitative als auch quantitative Methoden der Sozialforschung denkbar sowie ein Mix aus beidem.
In this seminar, participants jointly work through a research process in the field of child and youth welfare. Together, the course identifies a currently relevant topic to which several research questions — workable in small groups or individually — can be connected. A collectively organised data collection takes place, along with a shared analysis process that is continuously supported throughout the seminar. Methodologically, both qualitative and quantitative methods of social research are conceivable, as well as a mix of the two.
Das Seminar ist als Einführung in die systematische Einbettung eigener Forschung in Diskurse und Forschungsfelder der Sozialpädagogik angelegt. Neben der Erarbeitung eines Überblicks zur Publikationslandschaft der Disziplin sollen Möglichkeiten und Formen der wissenschaftlichen Darstellung eigener Forschung in kollegialer Diskussion erprobt und eingeübt werden.
Das Seminar legt einen spezifischen Fokus auf Konstruktionen von gender, Sexualität und Begehren in der Historie der Sozialpädagogik. Insbesondere werden auf der Basis von Literatur, aber auch in einem rekonstruktiven Zugang zu historischen Fallakten bzw. Ausschnitten aus Akten genderspezifische Adressierungen von Betroffenen in der Sozialpädagogik betrachtet und gemeinsam analysiert, welche Kategorisierungen von Geschlecht, Geschlechtsidentitäten und Sexualität für die Fallkonstruktionen jeweils relevant waren.
