Writing Lab "German as a Foreign Language"

Writing (here: in the foreign language) is an essential key skill for acquiring linguistic abilities. In this context, writing competence includes the mastery of the language area to be learned, "German as a foreign language". This includes orthographic, lexical, idiomatic and stylistic knowledge as well as a knowledge of text structures and valid writing conventions, which are gradually acquired in the seminar. In addition, the seminar deals with the connection between academic writing and intercultural competence, the interaction of language and culture, which is to be reflected upon.
