Writing Marathon

Make progress on your writing project!

The last writing half marathon took place on February 27 and February 28 (in the week after the Long Night of Writing on February 23). On these two days, you can work on your project from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in a structured manner. You focus on your text for 25 minutes and then take a five-minute break. In case you are not making the kind of progress you expected, you can discuss your project and process with members of our team. To stay hydrated and motivated, we will provide some snacks and drinks for a donation, so bring your favourite cup and let‘s get things done! Members of the university sports team will join us for short mobilization breaks (MoBe).

When? Monday, February 27, and Tuesday, February 28, 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where? C5.122 (Schreibzentrum/Writing Center) and classrooms on the first floor of Building 5. You can also log on to sessions via Zoom.

Note that you do not have to be there on both days or for the entire day. Decide how much time you want to devote to your project. If you write for a few hours but in a focused manner, chances are you will have made progress on your project.
