Workshops

The Schreibzentrum / Writing Center offers various workshops on scientific writing and working every semester. Our collaborations with the Graduate School and Teaching Service extends this offer to PhD students and lecturers.

You can also have a look at the training courses offered by the MIZ on the topic of media literacy. There, you will find training on research and literature management on a regular basis, along with further training which can advance your writing and work.

Writing Groups

Are you preparing for a bachelor's or master's thesis or are you already working on one? Would you like to connect with like-minded people who are also working on such a project? Would you like a space where you can freely discuss the ups and downs that come with a lengthy writing project? If you are interested in receiving and giving constructive feedback, then one of the writing groups organized by the Schreibzentrum / Writing Center may be just right for you.

The writing groups work independently once they have come together. To help you find like-minded people, we offer a corresponding event twice a semester.

We offer two starting dates for both bachelor's and master's thesis writing groups, one at the beginning of the term, the second prior to the break:
