Workshops
Every semester, the Schreibzentrum / Writing Center offers a variety of workshops on scientific writing and academic work. Our collaborations with the Graduate School and Teaching Service extend this offer to PhD students and lecturers.
You can also have a look at the training courses offered by the MIZ on the topic of media literacy. There, you will find training on research and literature management on a regular basis, along with further training which can advance your writing and work.

Registration is possible via myStudy. You can find our workshops in the course catalogue by selecting “additional offers (without CPs)” , then “Schreibzentrum / Writing Center”.
We work bilingually; workshop titles are displayed in the language of instruction. Our workshops are held either in person or online. You can find specific information and the login data for online events on myStudy.

We are hosting further events in the summer semster:
- Writing Groups for students, who are preparing their thesis or already working on it.
- The next round of the Writing Consultation Training is planned to take place this autumn.
- In the AI Writing Lab, we will try out tools and applications for academic writing.
- In our drop-in hours, you can approach us spontaneously with your questions regarding writing.
- The Writing Meetup offers a time and place for structured writing on your projects.
- We're getting up early and getting work done on our writing projects during Rise & Write!
