Conditions of Participation for Career Service Events
- Target group
The Career Service events are aimed at bachelor students from Leuphana College and master students from Leuphana Graduate School. Some events are also open to Leuphana alumni (up to one year after graduation). These events are marked accordingly on the registration page.
- Registration for free events
- Registration takes place online via the Career Service event page. The first step is to register once. You can then sign-up for the desired event.
- After successful registration you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
- Registration for chargeable events
- You can register for chargeable events via the eveeno event management software. You will find the link for registration on our event page for the respective event.
- To register, please complete the mandatory information on the registration form. Payment of the participation fee can then be made afterwards. The provider eveeno will handle the billing of the ticket purchase, including invoicing, payment processing and dunning, independently.
- Following your booking, you will receive confirmation and the invoice from eveeno by email.
- Allocation of places
Places are allocated according to the date of receipt of registration and, in the case of fee-based events, after payment of the participation fee. For some events, the number of places is limited. In such cases, you will be put on a waiting list and notified if a place becomes available. If you have been allocated a place, you will receive a reminder from us approximately one week before the event.
- Cancellation of events
Your registration is binding. However, if you are unable to attend an event as planned, please cancel your registration as early as possible. You can do this yourself via a link in your confirmation email or by writing to us at careerservice@leuphana.de. We reserve the right to exclude students who are absent without excuse from future events.
- Reimbursement of participation fees
Participation fees will be refunded up to a maximum of 7 days before an event. No refunds will be made for later cancellations or non-participation. If an event is canceled, the fee will be refunded.
- Participation in online events
- To participate in our online workshops, we require active participation with the use of a camera and microphone. If this is not possible, please contact us in advance. Passive participation in workshops is not possible.
- For chargeable events, your full name must always be given so that we can assign your registration.
- Online events are generally not recorded by us. Participants are also not permitted to film or otherwise record content or people at events. Content is made available exclusively for personal use.
- Certificates of attendance
- For participation in Career Service events lasting at least 3 hours, a certificate can be issued up to a maximum of 6 months after the event. If required, please send us an e-mail to “careerservice@leuphana.de”.
- Certificates of attendance will only be issued for full attendance over the entire duration of the event.
