Nina Frings
Nina joined the PSBC lab in Basel in September 2022 as a PhD candidate. She is working within a larger project aiming to understand judgment and decision-making across time and nations in the energy and climate change domain. Her experimental research is focused on how judgments (including primarily efficacy perceptions) are related to different behaviors (individuals household behaviors or their stated support for policies), how these judgments may differ between individuals and contexts, as well as how the associations between judgments and behaviors may vary across contexts (e.g. different contexts).
Published articles include:
- The energy crisis differentially impacted Swiss and German citizens’ energy literacy and efficiency preferences but not their support for climate policies
- Climate impact perceptions and associations with reported behaviors and policy support in three countries
