Paula Rubertus

Paula joined the PSCA lab as a PhD candidate in the Embracing Transformation Program at the Leuphana University in April 2026. Working at the intersection of sustainability psychology and political science, she examines how political decision-making processes shape public support for climate policies and perceptions of political legitimacy.

Paula is particularly interested in science-policy interfaces, interparty cooperation, and democratic innovations that support political foresight. Prior to joining Leuphana, she worked in psychotherapy and public health at the University and University Hospital of Würzburg.
