Yuqi Ye

Yuqi is a postdoctoral researcher and behavioral scientist at Leuphana, who uses large-scale observational data to study human behaviour in real-world contexts, with a focus on how social and economic environments shape individual and collective decisions with long-term consequences for health, wellbeing, and sustainability.

Her work leverages rich behavioral datasets, including aggregated foot-traffic data covering millions of physical locations (SafeGraph) and household daily purchases from a large U.S. consumer panel (NielsenIQ). Yuqi’s current research aims to combine experimental methods with real-world data to better understand and promote sustainable individual and collective behavior.
