Zahra Rahmani

Zahra joined the PSBC lab in Basel as a PhD in November 2022. She works on the intersection of Psychology, Behavioral and Decision Sciences. She likes to think about how people build relationships with their natural environment and how they act in the face environmental crises. Her research interests include sustainable decision-making, belief formation, information sampling, the malleability of beliefs, and more generally, encompass models and theories of decision making. Zahra current projects focus on climate policy support, sustainable diets, information search and information avoidance. She strives to design informative experimental paradigms that allow to measure and observe behavior in relevant settings, and to analyze data with methodological rigor.
