ESDfor2030@Leuphana Workshop
01. Mar
Dear colleagues,
sustainability is a holistic and continuous challenge for Leuphana, which all four faculties have taken up. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is therefore both researched and integrated into teaching by many institutes and centers at Leuphana and thus driven forward.
The new UNESCO framework "Education for Sustainable Development: Towards achieving the SDGs" (or in short ESD for 2030), addresses the relationship between ESD and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There are numerous connections to research, teaching and future funding. In this context, the Institute for Sustainable Development and Learning (ISDL) cordially invites you to the virtual
ESDfor2030@Leuphana workshop on 01.03.2021, 9:00 - 11:30 am.
We would like to seize the moment and bring together Leuphana researchers related to ESD through ISDL, to facilitate an overview of interests and existing research. The goal is to make visible both the existing contribution to this framework through work already done at our university, as well as possible cooperation potentials and to discuss joint further steps, if applicable. Here you find the framework and roadmap launched by UNESCO in December last year.
If you would like to participate in the workshop, please register here by Feb. 24, 2021 until 11:59 p.m. and please also take 3 minutes to complete a short survey there in preparation for the workshop. Even if you are interested in the workshop but cannot attend, we are interested in your ideas. We are happy to involve you in possible next steps.
The workshop will take place online via Zoom. After registration you will receive the access data in advance.
If you have any questions, please write to isdl@leuphana.de.
