Combine Cultural Studies with Museum Studies (B.A.)

Your Bachelor's degree At Leuphana University

The combination of the major Cultural Studies: Organization, Society, and the Arts with the minor Museum Studies at Leuphana College offers a unique opportunity to understand and shape cultural phenomena from different perspectives. The major provides in-depth knowledge of social, organizational and artistic processes, while the Museum Studies minor provides practice-oriented knowledge of the museum world and its social significance. This interdisciplinary combination enables students to develop both theoretical and practical skills that are essential for a career in the cultural and museum sector.

Cultural Studies: Organization, Society, and the Arts as Major

The Major Cultural Studies: Organization, Society, and the Arts offers an interdisciplinary approach to understanding cultural phenomena in their social, organizational and artistic dimensions. Students gain profound insights into the interactions between culture, society and the structures that shape them - be it in art, media, politics or business. The course promotes a critical examination of cultural processes and enables students to analyse and reflect on complex interrelationships. By combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills, students are prepared for the challenges and opportunities of a globalised, culturally diverse world. The major also offers students the opportunity to deepen their own interests and specialisations in various subject areas and to prepare for a career in the cultural, art and media sector.
