Welcome to the College Open Day!
Already on the evening of 29 October, a selection of our study programmes present themselves online – and on 30 October, we invite you to our campus to get to know Leuphana and its distinctive study model.
The on-campus day on 30 October is all about orientation and hands-on experience: an overview of the study model, the application and admission process, a campus tour, sample lectures – and, above all, personal exchange at the info stands, where our student councils (Fachschaften) and students are happy to answer your questions about every degree programme.
Good to know: Detailed presentations of the individual degree programmes are not part of the on-campus day on 30 October – but you can get a first insight into selected programmes at our online presentations on 29 October. On site, the student councils, students and the Study Advisory Service will gladly answer any questions you have. So feel free to bring all your questions along!
Can’t make it in person, or would you like to get a head start? The evening before the Open Day, selected degree programmes introduce themselves online – conveniently from home. After an English-language welcome and information on the application and admission process, the programmes give you a first insight. Participation is free; you’ll find the Zoom link for each session in the table.

On Friday, 30 October, a varied programme awaits you from 2:00 pm until the early evening in the Lecture Hall Corridor– with a welcome session, a campus tour, sample lectures and plenty of room for personal exchange. Here’s an overview:

What does studying at Leuphana really feel like? Between 4:00 and 5:30 pm, you can find out: in our sample lectures, workshops and open labs, you’ll experience real university life up close – from the lecture hall to creative labs to interactive workshops. All sessions are open to everyone, no matter which subject you’re interested in.
The best part: you don’t have to commit to anything. Since many sessions run in parallel, just pick one that sparks your curiosity and dive in. You’ll find the exact times and locations in the overview below.

Behind the faculty and programme student councils are higher-semester students from your desired degree programme. They represent the interests of the students of the respective faculty or study programme and support them as contact persons for questions, comments, and problems. Most importantly, they are here to give you honest, first-hand insider tips about student life, courses, and what studying in Lüneburg is really like! Just drop by their booths and ask all the questions you might not want to ask the professors.
