Examinations
The staff at Student Services will provide you with information and advice on all questions relating to examinations. The Examination Administration of the Student Service Centre is the executive body of the Examination Board. The Examination Administration is responsible for implementing and complying with the rules of the Framework Examination Regulations and the subject-specific annexes.
General Examination Regulations
The General Examination Regulations lay down the general terms and conditions of examinations. They are legally binding and regulate, among other things, study schedule, admission requirements, recognition of credits, examination procedure, examination dates and registration deadlines, absence and withdrawal from examinations, cheating during examinations, grading, opportunities to retake exams, and much more.
Exam Registration
Registration for all exams is done online via the university information system myCampus. The exam dates are absolutely binding. The registration period begins with the first day of the lecture period and ends on November 15th in the winter semester. You can withdraw from an exam via myCampus up to 3 working days before the exam date or the exam phase without giving reasons.
The only exception is the Combined Academic Paper examination type. In this case, the above-mentioned withdrawal without giving reasons is excluded. This is already announced when the teaching and examination offers are made available in myStudy. After successful registration for the examination, you will receive an e-mail. If you are unable to register, please be sure to contact the responsible person in the examination administration in the student service department within the registration period.

You determine the topic of the thesis with your first examiner. Please submit the original application form with a legible topic proposal to the Student Service Center.
