Prof. Dr. Tor­ben Schmidt is Pro­fes­sor of Eng­lish Did­ac­tics at the In­sti­tu­te of Eng­lish Stu­dies at Leu­pha­na Uni­ver­si­ty Lüne­burg. His fiel­ds of in­te­rest are for­eign lan­gua­ge learning and the di­gi­tal me­dia, self-di­rec­ted learning and pro­ject work in the EFL class­room, teaching EFL in ele­men­ta­ry schools, dra­ma in edu­ca­ti­on, and the teaching of lis­ten­ing and spea­king.
