Recognition of external credits from other universities
Examinations taken at other universities may count towards modules in the Information Systems (WI) major, provided that certain conditions are met. If there is a change to the examination regulations or a double degree programme at Leuphana Lüneburg University, then examinations previously taken at Leuphana Lüneburg University may also be recognised for modules in the WI major. Prof. Dr. Burkhardt Funk can only assist with the recognition of examinations for WI modules. For the recognition of other achievements, please contact the relevant programme leader.
1. Condition of recognition:
Achievement covers the same teaching content and formats as well as learning objectives to a comparable extent.
If the work was completed at another university, this was done
before the student was enrolled at Leuphana University of Lüneburg
or during a semester abroad on the basis of a previously approved Learning Agreement.
2. A separate application must be submitted for each module achievement to be recognised.
3. The application includes
the completed application form. The following fields in the 'To be completed by the person responsible' section must also be filled in: module name, module number, 5 CP, grade, area: Major
a description of the course and examinations taken at the university where the course was taken (e.g. a module handbook extract or a course description from the university website)
confirmation of the grade (e.g. copy of the transcript).
4. The application(s) should then be sent to Prof. Dr. Burkhardt Funk by e-mail with a short covering letter.
