What do the room numbers mean?

Room number = location, house, floor and room. For example: C7.209 >> maincampus, house 7, second floor, room 09. 

You will find the plans for Rotes Feld and Volgershall on the maps of the university.

Arrival by public transportation

Traveling by train, it takes 30 minutes to get to Hamburg and 90 minutes to get to Hannover. Since Lüneburg is part of the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund you can use HVV-tickets to travel from Hamburg central station to the Leuphana campus. Students can travel to Hamburg for free.

Arrival by car and parking lots

When arriving by car the parking lots P1-P3 can be used.

Electric filling station

The electric filling stations on the campus are supplied by LÜNESTROM with 100% green power. How to charge the car:

  • Put the charger into the car’s contact
  • Put the cable’s other end into the column load
  • Hold the fuel card in front of the circled sensor of the filling station
  • The sensor glows green and changes to blue shortly after 
  • The charger is blocked
  • The car is being charged with green power
  • In order to end the charging hold the card in front of the sensor 
  • The blue light disappears, the charger is being unblocked and can be removed

Accessibility

The campus is completely accessible for people with disabilities, including reserved parking lots for wheelchair users and accessible sanitary installations. Ramps, electric strikes, and lifts in all buildings guarantee access to all rooms. 

The Lüneburger Assistenz e.V. has opened an online platform for people with disabilities. It provides an overview on locations offering information or services for people with disabilities.
