Digitalisation is bringing massive changes. In order for companies to remain competitive, all sectors are required to face the change. The new part-time Master's programme "MBA Digital Transformation Management" is designed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills. "The programme is aimed at professionals who want to anticipate and evaluate relevant changes in digital transformation and, based on this, provide impulses for the strategic orientation of companies. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the topic of digital transformation, Bachelor's degrees from all disciplines qualify for admission to this Master's programme”, says programme coordinator Fenja Fischer.

In terms of content, the programme combines scientific knowledge from business informatics and economics with insights into corporate practice. "We combine current teaching content with innovative teaching formats and incorporate the students' experiences”, says programme director Prof. Dr. Paul Drews. Topics such as digital technologies, data-driven business models and management concepts for shaping the digital transformation are covered in the programme. In the complementary module, the topics of leadership, change management and organisational ethics are also dealt with in a cross-curricular context.

The courses are offered digitally and take place in the evenings and at weekends. In addition, there are, for example, company excursions. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Digital Transformation Management at Leuphana University Lüneburg is an internationally recognised university degree and offers the possibility of a doctorate.
