Information for all employees of the university on the operation of teaching and studies

Dear colleagues, dear professors and lecturers,
as you know, the state of Lower Saxony published a revised Corona Ordinance yesterday. The declared goal of the state government in this context is to continue to ensure the presence of teaching and studying at universities in Lower Saxony.
However, together with the other universities in Lower Saxony, we are currently still in consultation with the state government on the question of what concrete impact this new regulation will have on the operation of teaching and learning at Lower Saxony's universities.
As soon as this coordination with the state government has been completed, we will inform you in more detail. Until then, courses at Leuphana University of Lüneburg will continue to be held in attendance in accordance with the previously communicated and published regulations, which you can still find on the university's Corona portal at www.leuphana.de/portale/coronavirus.
Information on the impact of the new federal Infection Control Act on all University employees will follow shortly.
