With a score of 63 points in the Digital Campus Index, Leuphana reaffirms its excellence in digital higher education.

The Digital Campus Index Award assesses the digital maturity of universities and honours institutions that demonstrate outstanding performance in the areas of digitalisation and digital services. The evaluation is based on a comprehensive student survey conducted via the campus apps of UniNow GmbH.

Leuphana University of Lüneburg is setting new quality standards in its digitalisation strategy, as highlighted in the Digital Campus Index. The introduction of the new all-in-one Leuphana App will further advance the university's digital transformation. The App is a central element of the ‘Digital University’ project, supporting the almost 10,000 students in organising their studies. The new Leuphana App integrates numerous functions and services, including digital access to the student ID and the Germany semester ticket, e-mail management, information on the current canteen menus, the Leuphana online shop, a digital campus tour, access to the Leuphana podcast channel, and numerous other services. In addition, the app offers over 400 students discounts, a calendar, chat, and news function.

A special highlight is the Leuphana online job portal, which provides students with up-to-date information on job offers, entry-level positions, trainee programmes, and internships opportunities directly via the app. This feature is expected to be met with great interest, because a survey among first-year students revealed that new students have a strong interest in gaining practical work experience or are looking for a student job early on in their studies.

In this context, Leuphana follows a service-oriented digitalisation strategy that includes digital and hybrid learning formats, while also taking the university's administrative and service-oriented infrastructure to a new level.
