Innovative AI for knowledge management and product development
Leuphana and SIEB & MEYER launch research collaboration
2025-05-14 Leuphana University of Lüneburg and SIEB & MEYER AG entered into a comprehensive research collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). The aim of the four-year project is to research and develop intelligent assistance systems to support knowledge management and product development in technical companies.
The research focuses on AI-supported systems that support employees more efficiently with training, technical documentation and development processes. At the same time, digital product passports and automated sustainability analyses will set new standards in the area of environmental responsibility.
“With this project, we are bringing research and application together in an ideal way,” explains Prof. Dr. Arthur Seibel, project manager at Leuphana. “The collaboration allows us not only to research innovative AI technologies, but also to integrate them directly into real industrial processes.”
The cooperation between Leuphana and SIEB & MEYER AG shows how research and industrial application can go hand in hand. With its focus on artificial intelligence, product development and sustainability, the project sets standards for future-proof innovation strategies and at the same time sends out a signal for the targeted promotion of young talent.
