No Impact Without Scaling: Workshop with Enactus
2025-06-19 No Impact Without Scaling. Guided by this principle, three Enactus teams worked on strategies to expand the reach and effectiveness of their projects.
"Improving the world together on a small scale" This is the motto of Enactus - an initiative that focuses on social entrepreneurial projects by students. Enactus is an international network that encourages young people to bring about positive social and ecological change in their communities through entrepreneurial action. Enactus is also active at Leuphana in Lüneburg and tries to make the world a little better with many projects. Three of these projects took part in a workshop organized by the Leuphana Social Innovation Community.
2ndpage has been around for over ten years. The project produces notepads from misprints and thus does something about paper waste. Reframe aims to facilitate access to education for people in Ghana by selling cheap reading glasses. UnityCuisine aims to bring cultural diversity into companies through cooking courses.
What all projects have in common is that they want to generate a social impact. To make this even greater, the teams developed their own scaling strategies using a canvas after a brief theoretical input. Is the innovation even ready for scaling? What resources does it need? What are the risks? These exemplary questions were used as a basis for discussion and reflection. The teams now want to use the results to further develop their project so that the impact of the Enactus projects becomes even greater in the medium term.
