Further Lower Saxony-Scotland scholarships announced

2023-03-15 Lüneburg/Glasgow. The European Centre for Advanced Studies (ECAS) announces further calls for applications for the Lower Saxony - Scotland Tandem Fellowship Programme. The programme is funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK) and organised by ECAS, a joint institution of Leuphana University Lüneburg and the University of Glasgow (Scotland). The current call is aimed at doctoral students.

PhD students and postdocs who have an employment contract with a Scottish or Lower Saxony higher education institution are invited to apply for the programme. It offers the opportunity to conduct research in a transnational exchange at the most recognised higher education institutions in Lower Saxony and Scotland. The concept is for two researchers from both regions to form a tandem and work on a joint project. Short-term stays of at least one to five months in the partner region are funded with 1,400 EUR per person per month.

The deadline for postdoctoral project proposals is 31 March 2023; doctoral students can submit their proposals by 15 April 2023 via email: fellowship@ecas-academia.org.

For more information and details on the calls, ECAS offers Information Zoom Sessions on 15 March 2023 (PhD students and postdocs) and 3 April 2023 (PhD students).
