Study construction law and construction management part-time

2024-05-30 Lüneburg. Construction projects are becoming increasingly complex: those involved must be coordinated, expensive delays avoided and potential pitfalls identified at an early stage. There are also legal issues and transparent contract design. Management personnel in the construction industry must therefore have specialist knowledge of construction law, economics and technology in addition to traditional management skills. The Professional School at Leuphana University Lüneburg offers the part-time Master's degree program in Construction Law and Construction Management as a qualification option for applicants from the construction industry. A new academic year will start in October 2024. Applications are still possible until July 31. There are various advisory options for those interested.

Students can complete the Master's degree in four semesters with 60 credit points; in-depth study over two additional semesters (additional 30 credit points) is also possible. The course aims to qualify students for management responsibility in the construction industry in the overlapping areas of law, economics and technology. The main course content includes contract and contract management, costing, commercial law, construction law, construction project management and construction disruptions. Architect/engineering law, public procurement law, conflict management and negotiation are also on the program.
