Vita

Dr. Maren Wesselow is a researcher specializing in participatory governance and the development of sustainable and social innovations in the energy and agricultural sectors. Her work combines transdisciplinary research with participatory, interactive, and co-creative methods to support societal transformation processes in a practice-oriented way.

Throughout her career, she has worked on a range of research and applied projects addressing topics such as sustainable land use, urban agriculture, mobility, and energy-efficient neighborhood development. A key focus of her work has been the involvement of diverse societal actors and the co-development of innovative solutions in international contexts, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe.

At Leuphana University Lüneburg, she is currently working on a collaborative project focused on innovation processes in the field of community energy.
