Leuphana Law School Doctoral Prize

Every two years, Leuphana Law School awards the Leuphana Law School Doctoral Prize for outstanding dissertations completed within the law doctoral programs – particularly the Doctoral Research Group Law – at Leuphana University Lüneburg. Eligible dissertations must have been conferred the doctoral degree Dr. iur. by the Faculty of State Sciences with the highest distinction (summa cum laude). In addition to receiving this top academic honor, the awarded dissertations must demonstrate exceptional societal innovation.

The purpose and guiding principle of the prize are to support the careers of doctoral graduates who not only produce excellent academic work but also conduct innovative research in areas of significant societal relevance.

The doctoral prize, endowed with €10,000, is sponsored by the law firm GvW Graf von Westphalen | Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater Partnerschaft mbB.
