Great interest in the Leuphana career fair
2023-06-02 Lüneburg. At this year's FOR YOUR CAREER job and career fair at Leuphana University Lüneburg, more employers than ever before are recruiting students to join their companies. On June 7, 2023, the entire ground floor of the central building will be full of exhibitors looking for skilled employees. Around 70 companies from various sectors will be on hand at the exhibition stands to provide information about interesting jobs, trainee programs, internships, part-time jobs or themed offers for final theses.
Many exhibitors come from Hamburg, Hanover and Berlin, but companies from the rest of Germany have also registered. Large global players such as pwc, Kellogs, Dr. Oetker and Hapag-Lloyd will be represented, as will the Lüneburg-based companies CLAGE, Lünecom and Webnetz, for example.
This year, the fair is being organized by the university and the Leuphana Veranstaltungs- und Vermarktungsgesellschaft (LVV), which markets the central building, among other things. The organizers would have liked to see even more regional companies as exhibitors, but they were pleasantly surprised by the great national demand for exhibition stands. Especially in the last few weeks, there were many more inquiries than the fair team could handle..
The university is looking forward to many visitors to the fair. Priority will be given to its students and alumni, but others interested in academic career fields are also welcome.
